Welcome to my Tesla Violet Ray Machine

Nicola Tesla, the world’s greatest electrical genius, invented a high frequency healing device in 1891.

I consider myself very fortunate and blessed to have been able to acquire and learn how to use one of these rare and remarkable machines and can now offer treatments for a variety of conditions.

Cosmetologists still use it today for acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and stimulating hair growth and rejuvenation. The Violet Ray is making a come back today as a pain relief therapy along with skin rejuvenation and hair growth and much, much more.

Major hospitals all over the world used to have Tesla derived frequency devices to heal everything.  Although they have now been written out of history, many machines still exist thanks to a few dedicated collectors and restorers.    The machine I have acquired is a fine piece of 1950's German made technology.

Bookings are now being taken.

For more information see the Tesla Violet Ray page under Services.

New Premises

I am really thrilled to announce that I have moved again. This means that I can take more clients and be more flexible with appointment times. I loved working in Westbury-on-Trym but my room was too small and clients had trouble parking.

I now have my own, private clinic room in Avonmouth Village where parking is much easier. The address is:

The Office
5 Gloucester Road
Avonmouth Village
BS11 9AA

Come and see me there.

A Focus on Vitamin D – The Sunshine Vitamin

Vitamin D is not strictly a vitamin as it is synthesised in the skin.  It can actually be regarded as a hormone.  However, it is available through food and supplementation, which is vital during these winter months when it is not possible to get sun exposure.

Read my latest Education article and learn all about the the uses of the vitamin and how to get adequate supplies to see us through the long winter months.

Reflexology Treatments

If you want a relaxing and soothing hour of therapeutic treatment then consider having a Reflexology session.  As well as making your feet feel great and relaxing your mind and body this form of treatment has many health benefits, including boosting a sluggish circulation, stress, anxiety, back pain, migraine, poor digestion, irritable bowel syndrome, respiratory problems, asthma, headache, bladder problems and menopausal symptoms.

Reiki Courses available

Health and wellness is not just about what you eat (although a good diet goes a long way towards keeping you healthy). We are whole beings and as such I like to take a holistic approach towards my treatments. I have been a Reiki Master Practitioner for over a year and just love how Reiki can be used for improvement of mind, body and spirit. If you didn’t know, Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Encouraged by such positive results and feedback from clients I decided to take my Reiki to the highest possible level and so this weekend I did my Reiki Master Teacher course. This means I can now teach Reiki and attune my students to the beautiful life force energy that is channeled during a treatment.

I will soon be offering residential Reiki courses. I promise that the Certificated courses (that will include full instruction, meditation, attunement and hands on experience, all sustained with good, healthy food) will be enlightening, satisfying, relaxing, enjoyable and offer potential for self-improvement.

If you are interested in attending these courses, starting at level 1, please let me know in order to ensure a place is reserved for you. Dates will be announced soon.

Why you should drink lemon water on waking

I love starting the day with the juice of half a lemon squeezed into warm water. It just tastes so good and I find it to be such a refreshing and rehydrating start to the day. Apart from thoroughly enjoying my morning drink, there are real health benefits to my daily habit.

It rehydrates the body after going at least eight hours without drinking. When you are even mildly dehydrated, you are more prone to headaches, fatigue and an overall bad mood? That morning lemon water helps your body stay hydrated and feeling happy. Warm water is most effective.

It helps digestion by stimulating stomach acid and bile production. This will help keep your gastrointestinal tract working smoothly. Lemon water also helps relieve indigestion and upset stomachs.

Lemons contain Vitamin C and although not a high amount at 30-50 mg per lemon, the body will absorb these vitamins effectively giving your immune system a boost. Vitamin C is also needed for collagen production for healthy skins as the anti-oxidants help fight damage caused by free radicals. You are also getting the benefits of potassium, magnesium and copper.

Lemons contain pectin, a type of fibre found in fruits which helps you feel full longer meaning you will snack less throughout the day. This may help with weight management, as part of a healthy diet.

Lemon water can boost energy levels without the caffeine crash. When negative-charged ions, like those found in lemons, enter your digestive tract the result is a natural increase in energy levels. So ditch the morning caffeine fix.

Now, while lemon water is one of the safest drinks you can ingest, the acids in lemons may eat away at your tooth enamel. To prevent this, drink lemon water before brushing your teeth — the overnight bacteria will protect your teeth a little. Drink through a straw and rinse with baking soda to neutralize any acid that might be left on your teeth.

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

Last night I watched a television programme on RLS. As a sufferer myself my heart went out to the people they featured as they were suffering to the extreme and their quality of life was severely diminished by this condition.

This programme was of particular interest to me as I suffer from RLS. My mother suffered, as does my sister, so there seems to be a family link here. However, as a nutritional therapist I have learnt how to manage the condition and symptoms. Thankfully, apart from the occasional night where I really can’t stop moving my legs and my sleep is consequently disturbed, it no has absolutely no adverse affect on my life.

If you are afflicted by RLS I will be happy to work with you to help manage your symptoms. Please email me on enquiries@wellnessbee.co.uk or use the form on the Contacts page.
